Vision

To build intergenerational bonds of solidarity between lesbians of color who are masculine identified (MI) or masculine of center (MoC).

Purpose

The purpose of the organization is to develop strategies to address the stigma associated with being a Masculine Identified (MI) or Masculine of Center (MoC) Lesbian of Color and to provide a sense of mental, physical, and spiritual harmony in living as one’s authentic self. The Masculine Identified Lesbians of Color Collective was formed for the purpose of creating and maintaining safe spaces for Masculine Identified Lesbians of Color to be themselves and to create opportunities to express one’s authentic identities, celebrating the varied expressions of female-bodied masculinity and attractions to women.

Mission

The Masculine Identified Lesbians of Color Collective (MILoCC) is a community and peer support organization. Formed in 2018, with headquarters in New York City, the work of MILoCC is to gather and create a formidable community of Masculine Identified (MI)/Masculine of Center (MoC) Lesbian women of color. To inspire our community to be proud of who we are, to support our community by providing informational led workshops, conversations, and events designed to celebrate the accomplishments of MI/Moc lesbians, to connect the lesbian community with valuable resources that address their needs. To collectively work with MI/MoC’s lesbians across the United States and beyond to provide safe and welcoming spaces where MI/MoC lesbians of color, same gender loving women of color, our friends, and allies are able to collectively congregate and fellowship.

We continue growing & providing valuable services to the community
